Today I want to talk to you about comfort zones. They’re cozy, right? But they’re never where the magic happens. When was the last time you experienced personal or professional growth while hanging out in your comfort zone? I’m going to guess, er, never?
I recently interviewed author and leadership expert Majo Molfino about her book Break the Good Girl Myth and I loved the way she conceptualized the comfort zone: the circle surrounding it is your vulnerability edge. What might you be willing to do to get closer to that edge in the service of courage, growth, or other values?
Growth is good. So join me in embracing those vulnerability edges.
My feel-goodie of the month: My dog’s comfort zone. He doesn’t care about growth.
I’d love to hear from you if you want to connect.
Hang tough, peeps, we’ve got this.
